We used a well known mortgage broker to arrange our finance and despite having pre-approval, our application was going nowhere with only one day to the end of the finance clause. Suzy came to our house at 9.30 that night and instantly gave us a sense of calm. She arranged approval the next day and also cleverly re-arranged our loans so that we saved approximately $8000 compared to the other mortgage broker. Suzy also managed a substantial discount on our existing borrowings. Suzy has a substantial knowledge of the products and has the ability to access her network of people within the lending organisation. Apart from having our loan approved, we also needed certainty and confidence that things were going ok. Suzy kept in regular contact and had our settlement booked in well ahead of time where our previous settlements have always come down to the day.
Buying and selling houses can be a stressful time and we have found that it helps having the best team around you. It’s important that people return calls and are available. When this doesn’t happen, the uncertainty adds to the stress. Suzy was always available – it seems simple, but it is these little things, along with her great loan knowledge that count.
